Help

Hey everyone! Do you have some problems with your presentation?
Don't panic I will help you!
I will put here some questions and the solutions for it.
You can always ask something in a comment if you have more questions.

1. How do I copy a presentation of this blog

There are some great video's on youtube that can show you how to do it

Use Firefox or Google Chrome, there are two ways to copy a presentation.
COPY n' PASTE  and DRAG  n' DROP
 COPY n' PASTE
1. If you found a presentation that you want to use, click on read more.
    You will see the HTML code, copy it.
2. Go to you stardoll page and click on edit presentation 
3. Past the code in the presentation and click on save
    Now 2 things can happen, don't panic this is normal:
    - stardoll says that it contains personal information, no problem just edit it and click on save again
    - The code stands in your presentation, click on edit and edit the presentation

 Sometimes the background does not appears, click again on edit and save, if this doesn't work, try the code again, still not working? contact me on stardoll or facebook

DRAG  n' DROP
* You can lose the layout or background more easily
1.Found a presentation? Open in a second tablet (Ctrl+t) with your stardoll page and click on edit presentation.
2. Select the presentation and hold it!
3. Drag it to the 2nd tablet, to your presentation box.
4. Release it
5. Click on save


With both methods, the layout may change
Use the 'delete' button on your keyboard to delete the extra spaceThis is especially for presentations with many (scroll)boxes






2. How to create a new line

If you use enter a new box will  appear, if you don't want that use shift+enter


3. Where can I create presentations

I use witty profiles, because it is a great HTML editor and it is simple
But you also have this one:  htmledit.squarefree.com



4. How resize a picture

Here are some videos that can help you
If you have firefox or internet explorer then you have no problems? It's really easy just take a corner of the picture and drag it until you have the desired size.If you have Google Chrome then it's a little difficult....





5. How do I put my pictures in my presentation?

As you know stardoll has some rules
• No real photo
• No Pictures of the internet
• No pictures that can hurt people
• ...
You can use
• Pictures that you took with you stardoll camera
• Medolls
• Pictures that other stardoll members made
• Pictures of stardoll designs



6. How can I change the picture in the presentation

Click on read more for the code, you need this to change the pictures
1. Go to a html editor
2. find the picture link that I used
3. Go to your pictures and copy the link of your picture
4. Replace my link of my picture by your link of your
5. if you are done with editing, copy the code and past it in your presentation or drag and drop the presentation

    When I use the copy and paste method , when I try adding my own text the background disappears and the text spreads out leaving the presentation to look strange ! Please message me back on stardoll @jessicaskyemc

    It is not allowing me to save the presentation. The red box says: "The text is not allowed since it contains personal information."

      You scroll down after that and then it'll be there, edit the presentation, then save!

      I paste the code into the bottom of my presentation, then I click save, then it says "The text is not allowed since it contains personal information.".
      Then I scroll down like you say, but nothing's there, was the text supposed to be there? And what do you mean my "edit the presentation"?

      This is because of the bit that says Charly_6_ Edited by...

      If you delete that it works but then Charly needs credit so I just write charly_6_ at the end.

      Quando você coloca a apresentação da esse aviso mesmo, mas é so você apagar oque esta escrito About me e tal.. escrever oque você quer e salvar.

    there was a color chart and a place where we can edit presentations where are thy now it's horribly put them again suheily90 uh I use them and now they DISSAPEAR so bad. :( sorry for being meany but I'm really sad huh not because the site is yours you remove things people use :(

      you have to use pictures from the stardoll camera c: click and drag the picture to a new tab and copy the link it gives you

    I'm trying to use one of your presentations in my club and I have put my text in and everything but it won't let me save it. It says it contains personal information. I have pressed save multiple times and it still will not let me save it. I don't know what in the code or text would keep me from being able to post it. Please help!

    After i used one of the presentations and deleted it to update to a new one it just leaves a white box with pink border around it ( which won't let me write anything in it ) and i tried to delete it so many times but it won't go and neither Stardoll is replying back to me about it so how to i get it off???

    Hello! I've been trying to make my own presentation and the only thing I'm getting stuck on is how to put in a background colour or the whole thing. I want to put this quote in a box and then start putting in everything else but I want a baby blue background for the entire thing and I just needed some help with that.     HELP! Where is the Sherlock Holmes presentation, I've picked the code of, for my presentation? I no longer can find it. Is it gone? I need the original code, but I already searched all presentations several times, but it's no longer findable. It was a black presentation with a photo of the 'new' Sherlock Holmes' actor.. of the TV series. But even under the tags' black', 'serie' I can't find it, and the name of the actor is not under the keywords (Cumberbatch). This is really a pity because it was such an amazing presentation and I've edited the original code in a way I no longer like, but I don't have the original code. PLS add it again, if this is possible. I would be really grateful.

    Hi! I had a problem with my presentation
    I wanted to trade it because I easily get sick of them.
    And when I took it out there was a black background, and that black background does not want to come out any way. And the worst is that if I put another presentation code that black background is on top and the presentation below is the biggest confusion! Please, if you can help me, thank you!

    Hey so i tried to make my own presentation and it worked and i wanted the image to be circular so i went on this other website and copied the link and put it in the HTML editor and it all worked but when i saved it in my pres the image would disappear. I think its because of the website i used, so how do i make pictures from this website circular to use it in my pres? thanks :]
